A life care plan is a document that is produced in the case of a patient with a chronic disease or condition that requires ongoing and future medical needs. It addresses three questions:
- What conditions does the injured person have?
- What are the medically related goods and services that the person will need in the future?
- How much will these medical needs cost?
In addition the expert may be asked to review appropriateness of the medical costs that have already been charged. The expert may also be asked to review the other party’s life care plan and provide feedback and/or criticism.
Dr. Janssen has experience in performing dozens of life care plans and providing testimony to back up opinions regarding future medical requirements and costs.
